Relaxing of Football Stadia Improvement Fund Criteria

The Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF) has relaxed the application criteria for football clubs searching for prospective funding. 

Previously, clubs within Steps 1 to 5 of The FA National League System (NLS) were able to apply for FSIF funding restricted to a maximum of 50% towards any eligible projects costs. The latest decision has increased this maximum grant percentage to 70%, effective from 1 April 2018.  

All other extant criteria will remain, including the maximum grant amount that clubs can apply for, depending upon the level at which they play. 

The Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF) receives funding each year from the Premier League to assist clubs within The FA National League System (NLS) to improve their facilities for the benefit of players, officials and spectators.

Clubs who are interested in applying for FSIF funding are encouraged to speak with FSIF officers as soon as possible to determine eligibility and advice on how best to develop their application.  FSIF officers are geographically located across the country and contact details can be found on the FSIF website.
